Cindy Maynard

Cindy Maynard is a West Virginia showcase artist with over 16 years of professional experience planning, designing and executing inspiring, primitive sculptures and centerpieces fit for any budget.

Cindy grew up in the southern part of WV, just west of the capital city of Charleston. Her love for art translated into Cindy’s desire to follow a path where she could utilize her creativity. From a young age she had a strong desire to embrace many creative things such as art, mixed media and sewing.

Cindy professionally marked her start in the industry in 1994 with the launch of her West Virginia based Primitive Sculpting business, Cindy’s Papier Mache and Clay Creations—now known as Petals and Primitives. At Petals and Primitives she showcases and sells her sculptures, as well as designs centerpieces for local weddings, events and residences alike.

With years of experience behind her and many satisfied clients, Cindy continues to execute memorable, notable, one-of-a-kind creations that are unique to every client.

Cindy has frequently been featured in several regional publications and has also been featured in the prestigious West Virginian showcase, Tamarack of WV, in 1995.
